Note: Originally written for two horns, this andante makes a beautiful violin solo for recital and occasional use. Most of the piece lies in first through fourth position, though one scale-wise passage ascends to high G (fourth ledger line). Other than that single measure, no advanced techniques are required.

Skills: C Major; 3/4 time; Mostly first through third position with one passage extending to seventh position; cantabile playing with long legatos, requiring nuanced phrasing; passages in broken thirds; one trill.
