Note: The six Moments Musicaux are among the most frequently performed of Schubert’s piano works, and No. 3 is certainly the best known of the set. Light-hearted and whimsical, it is well suited for performance in many settings. In this arrangement, the two violins alternate between melody and accompaniment.
