Note: KV 487 is originally for two horns (or basset horns – the jury is still out on that question). I revoiced and transposed the duo, then created an inner voice playable on violin or viola. Violin 1 is playable on flute or oboe. These trios are among the most useful items in my music library. This adagio makes a very nice interlude.
