Trällerliedchen, op. 68 no. 3 (violin and piano)
$4.29
Title: Trällerliedchen, op. 68 no. 3
Composer: Robert Schumann, arr. David Gable
Instrumentation: Violin and Piano
Printout: 3 pages
Note: Although “trällern” means “to warble” as in a bird singing, when combined with “liedchen” (little song) it conveys humming, or a sweet, simple tune one might hum softly while otherwise engaged. This piece should therefore be played in a casual, unassuming way. It is excellent for wedding preludes and interludes as well as recitals, and it is accessible to students working on playing through fifth position on the middle strings and developing their bel canto tone.
