St Anthony Chorale (unaccompanied violin)

Title: St Anthony Chorale

Composer: Joseph Haydn, arr. David Gable

Instrumentation: Unaccompanied Violin

Printout: 1 page

Note: This piece works beautifully as a slow processional or an incidental solo. It is sometimes incorrectly attributed to Brahms, who used it in his Variations on a Theme by Haydn. There is also some evidence that the melody may have been written by Pleyel.
