Clair de Lune, from Suite bergamasque (violin viola duo)
Title: Clair de Lune, from Suite bergamasque
Composer: Claude Debussy, arr. David Gable
Instrumentation: Violin and Viola
Printout: 4 pages
Note: One of Debussy’s most beautiful and famous works, Clair de Lune (moonlight) is an excellent piece for wedding preludes, meditations, and even processionals. It provides an nice contrast to the more standard baroque and classical era repertoire, and I have found that often people come over and listen when they hear it beginning.
