Sonata in F Major, HWV 370, Allegro (violin viola duo)

Title: Sonata in F Major, second movement (Allegro)

Composer: Georg Frideric Handel, arr. David Gable

Instrumentation: Violin and Viola

Printout: 4 pages

Note: Handel is often requested by clients wanting classical music for weddings and other events, but the scarcity of baroque repertoire for violin and viola puts such duos at a disadvantage. This energetic Allegro from the well-known Sonata in F is originally for violin and basso continue, but it sounds equally good performed on violin and viola.

The first movement of this sonata is also available for violin and viola duo.
