Salut d’Amour (string quartet)

$5.99

Title: Salut d’Amour

Composer: Edward Elgar, arr. David Gable

Instrumentation: Violin 1; Violin 2; Viola; Cello

Printout: 9 pages including cover

Note: Written in 1888, Salut d’amour was originally titled “Liebesgruss” (love’s greeting). It sold poorly until Elgar changed the title to the current French. Then copies fairly flew off the shelves. Salut d’Amour is an absolute necessity for wedding musicians, but it is also valuable for light concert use.
