Note: Mi Bon Siach is chanted early in a Jewish wedding ceremony as the bride circles the groom. Though instruments are not used in a Jewish ceremony, Mi Bon Siach is also an excellent choice for preludes and processionals. The two violins in this arrangement are equal partners, with the second violin carrying the melody in the second verse while violin 1 weaves a counterpoint above. The first violin part may be performed on flute or oboe.
