March, from Scipione (violin viola duo)

Title: March, from the opera Scipione

Composer: G. F. Handel, arr. David Gable

Instrumentation: Violin and Viola

Printout: 2 pages

Notes: The opera is also referred to by the English equivalent, Scipio. The full title is the cumbersome Publio Cornelio Scipione. This march is an excellent wedding processional, especially for clients who like the traditional baroque marches but want something a bit different. The violin part is playable on flute or oboe if the opening is played one octave higher.
