Note: This medley consists of two traditional songs from the American west: Good-bye Old Paint, and Poor Lonesome Cowboy. Both are easy to learn and play. Tunes like these were often sung by cattlemen to calm their herds.

Skills: D Major; 3/4 time; begins on up beat with up bow; double up bows; some two note slurs; mostly on D and A strings, some notes on G; simple rhythm and note patterns.
