Note: This beloved hymn is a favorite for Protestant church services and for both Christian and secular weddings and funerals. Amazing Grace uses a traditional hymn tune known as “New Britain” and is perhaps one of the most recognizable hymns in the repertory. This setting for violin and viola or cello can also be played with two violas or viola and cello, despite the violin part being in treble clef. The violin part can also be performed on flute or oboe.
