Action Songs
Teachers of young children know the value of action songs for teaching spatial orientation and sequencing, developing language skills and memory, and, in many cases, fostering collaboration. Some action songs, such as London Bridge, have fairly set movements, but others give teachers latitude to develop movements for particular children or groups.
