Note: The Heroic Marches, or Heldenmusik, of Telemann are perfect for weddings, graduations, and other festive occasions. Each was written as a musical expression of a particular quality. The first march, La Majesté, is stately and, well, majestic. Both violin parts can be played on flute or oboe, and the first violin part sounds great either doubled or replaced by a trumpet in C.
