This traditional French round can be sung in up to four parts and is fairly easy to learn.

In English: “Are you sleeping? Are you sleeping?/Brother John, Brother John/ Morning bells are ringing, morning bells are ringing/ ding ding dong, ding ding dong.

In German: Bruder Jakob, Bruder Jakob/Schläfst du noch? Schläfst du noch?/ Hörst du nich the Glocke, Hörst du nich the Glocke?/ Ding, dang, dong. Ding, dang, dong.

In Spanish: Martinello, Martinello/¿Dónde estás?¿Dónde estás?/Toca la campana, toca la campana/Din don dan, din don dan.
