March, from Judas Maccabaeus (HWV 63) (string trio)

$4.29

Title: March, from the oratorio Judas Maccabeus

Composer: G. F. Handel, arr. David Gable

Instrumentation: Violin, Violin 2/Viola, Cello

Printout: 4 pages

Note: Paired in the oratorio with the chorus “See, the Conqu’ring Hero Comes”, this march is spirited and triumphant. It makes an excellent wedding march for those who like the baroque character but want something different from the usual Clarke and Purcell marches. This arrangement includes alternative parts for violin 2 or viola. The violin 1 part is playable on flute, oboe or trumpet.
