Level 4.0 (violin)

Level 4 compositions are suitable for both instructional and professional use. They freely utilize first through fifth positions and may have occasional passages or notes that extend higher. They may use advanced techniques including double stops, chords, sautille, spiccato, up-bow staccato, and chromaticism. Examples of standard repertoire in Level 4.0 are the Accolay concerto in A minor, Mozart’s Concerto in G Major, and Handel’s D Major Sonata.
