String Duos - Viola and Cello

Other than some baroque sonatas and the stand-out “Eyeglasses Duet,” music for viola and cello was largely neglected until the twentieth century. This means that duos of viola and cello have little material to draw on for gig and concert use. The focus of this category is on repertoire suitable for weddings and other occasions, in styles ranging from baroque to romantic to traditional to ragtime.
